Septic System Installation in Paradise Valley, Montana

Out here, your septic system is your wastewater plant — and it lives or dies by the soil it’s built in and the care it’s built with. EZ Road Repair installs and replaces septic systems across Emigrant, Livingston, Pray, Gardiner, and the rest of Park County’s Paradise Valley: tanks set right, drain fields built to the approved design, and ground restored so the system disappears into the property and just works. (Please note: we do not currently provide septic services in Gallatin County.)

When septic work matters

  • A new home or cabin build that needs its first system
  • An aging system with slow drains, odors, or a soggy drain field
  • A failed drain field that’s past repair and needs replacement
  • A remodel or addition that changes what the system must handle
  • Damaged tanks or lines from roots, settling, or vehicle traffic

Common problems we solve

  • Failed or saturated drain fields — replaced and rebuilt to the approved design, in soil prepared to actually drain.
  • Old tanks past their life — excavated, removed, and replaced with the site restored on top.
  • Systems damaged by traffic or settling — repaired, with grading fixed so the field stops taking loads it was never meant to carry.
  • Torn-up ground after septic work — we backfill, regrade, and respread topsoil so the yard heals clean, with surface water routed away from the field.

Our approach

Septic is permitted, regulated work — and that’s a feature. We build to the approved design from your site evaluation and permit, coordinate inspections, and put our excavation discipline into the parts that decide longevity: undisturbed tank bedding, drain field trenches at true grade, and finish grading that keeps surface water off the field. Since the machines are already there, folks often pair septic with utility trenching or foundation work on the same mobilization.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does getting a new septic system work in Montana?

The short version: a site evaluation and permit establish what your soil can handle, a system gets designed to that approval, and then it gets installed exactly to the approved design. We handle the installation side — excavation, tank setting, drain field construction, and restoration — built to the permit, because that's what protects your property and your groundwater.

Do you install the whole system — tank and drain field?

Yes. Tank excavation and setting, the lines, and the drain field built to the approved specification — trenches, media, and cover — plus the backfill and final grading that leave the site clean and draining correctly.

How do I know if my drain field is failing?

The classic signs: slow drains and gurgling plumbing, sewage odors near the tank or field, and ground over the field that's soggy or suspiciously lush. Caught early, some problems are repairable; a saturated, failed field usually means replacement. We'll give you an honest read.

Can you replace or repair an existing septic system?

Yes — we repair damaged lines and components and replace tanks and drain fields that are past saving, working with the county on the permitting a repair or replacement requires. Failing systems don't improve with time, so sooner is cheaper.

What areas do you cover for septic work?

Paradise Valley and Park County communities — Emigrant, Livingston, Pray, Gardiner, and surrounding areas. Note: we do not currently provide septic services in Gallatin County. Call (406) 623-9075 to confirm your location and get scheduled.
